Art Deco Tables

The round and square extendable tables remained, however the choice was expanded to take in new shapes including flattened/elongated ovals and very large rectangles. These were finished with new materials such as parchment and sharkskin (shagreen), embellished with brass and bronze.

Biedermeier Tables

Round or square, with four legs or a single central pedestal, the table was the focal point of the house for daily meetings and for get-togethers for meals and parties. Extendable tables were generally round, and used an extension mechanism present to this day.
